Fantasy Event 

The 20th Annual Fantasy Event will be held April 26th, 2008. This year's theme is "Under the Tuscan Moon".  Make plans now to attend this amazing charity event. Tickets are now available online or through the STOP! office.

The Fantasy Event is recognized as Gainesville’s premier fundraising event of the year! It is a spectacular party—a party with a purpose. The 2007 'FAR EAST' Fantasy Event netted over $250,000 for pediatric cancer research.

Held every spring, The STOP!® CHILDREN’S CANCER, INC. Fantasy Event transforms the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on the University of Florida campus into an incredible evening’s experience. With awesome decorations reflecting the current year’s theme, The Fantasy Event, black tie optional, features live music with dancing and a delicious buffet line including drinks.

Partygoers have the opportunity to bid on live and silent auction items, to have a well-known local artist sketch a personal portrait and to have a professional photograph taken. One lucky person will win the evening’s grand prize—historically a piece of jewelry valued at over $7,500!  This year, the grand prize is a pair of Inside-Out Diamond Hoop Earrings valued at $10,000, donated by Klaus Fine Jewelry. Every year there is a performance by a local dance group and appearances by special celebrity guests.
